When Asher arrived in New Zealand he brought his equipment with him, part of his equipment was his Jensen Tracked Chipper, this was the first one to enter New Zealand. ALFA Contracts are now the sole importers and distributors of Jensen Wood Chippers- these chippers were new to New Zealand but the first was built in Germany in 1884 by Peter Jensen. Asher is level 4 in Arboriculture, ISA Tree Risk Certified and runs a small arborist business in the Bay of Plenty. Both his crews use the Jensen tracked and trailed machines. As well has having superb product knowledge he understands the cost down time can have. Which is why we chose quality, robust and efficient machines.

You’ll find Kathleen in the office and on the end of the phone to help with any queries as well as been available to offer advice on machines. We have a large amount of spare parts in stock, so we are able to offer next day delivery on most parts. You will also see Kathleen at trade show Fieldays and any other events.

Luke has been part of the ALFA team since 2016, Luke purchased his first Jensen wood chipper over a game of pool. Luke now runs two machines within his own business and is the Hire manager for the tracked Jensen machine in Auckland.
